Both forms must be submitted before a slot is reserved.

Both forms have to be submitted electronically.

You should receive a confirmation email withing 48 hours of submitting each form.

GHAA Info Letter - please read this before submitting a form

GHAA Student Registration - student must fill out completely and return via email

GHAA Counselor Form - to be filled out by high school counselor for each student wishing to audition and submitted via email by the counselor

• GHAA are an opportunity for students in the Houston area to audition for college/ university Theatre Programs from all over the nation.

• Students must have a GPA of at least 2.5 to audition

• Students may audition for acting or tech programs. Acting auditions are two minutes long and consist of either two contrasting monologues, or one monologue and 16 bars of a song.

• Students performing 16 bars of a song must provide their own accompaniment on a cd or ipod. Singing a capella is not allowed.

• Tech students will set up their portfilio and present it in a round robin style fashion. Groups of representatives from the institutions will come by in five minute intervals to see the student's portfolio and listen to the presentation.

• After auditions colleges/universities will post a list of students that they would like to see during "callbacks". Callbacks are an interview and information session. This is a chance for the school and student to ask questions in order to get to know eah other and what each has to offer.
